Been here twice to see bands. Great venue for a fun evening. Only dropped the food option from 5-4 stars because we were promised full menu with reserved seating, evidently with the rain delay, we got a very limited patio menu, which was still ok, worth the price, just not what I was after. The staff did their best, for what was going on, and were friendly. Service was good, will definitely go back….

Wife loved her big arse salad. Beautiful location over looking the river. We went in January bit chilly in there but that's to be expected it was slow and no body heat from fellow patrons to warm it up. Looking forward to heading there in the summer when they have live bands and the deck open.

My wife and I had our Valentines dinner at this place. The place is located by the Albemarle Sound, and the water view just adds to the overall atmosphere. I must say that we so enjoyed our whole experience, from the service to everything that was served. All I can say is that the food was some of the best tasting that I've ever had. If you're ever in the area and are looking for a great place to eat, then I highly recommend you give this place a try.

The food was very good and our server, Marissa, was AMAZING and needs a raise. We went back 2 days in a row to try both the brunch and dinner menu and the food was great both times. We will definitely be back very soon.

Service from Sylor this evening was excellent! The recommendation of the Seafood Duo with fried Oysters & Fried Shrimp and a side of perfectly cooked fries! The Deviled-styled Crabcakes were satisfying! The Harvest Greens Salad with the added grilled shrimp Loved the Shrimp Pancake appetizer too! For the record, the collard greens topper is SPICY! The restaurant space is very nice, beautiful bar area and tonight great live singing. Unfortunately, it was a outside storm brewing because the patio area on the patio is amazing. Can't wait to return!

This was a good experience. Walking in, we were welcomed with a clean and at the same time light breeze smell. Then, the hosts seated us to our reservation. We chose to be outside on the deck. On this night, there was live music. The view from the deck to the water as it faded away in the horizon was beautiful. The vibe at the restaurant was relaxing with an excellent feel. We ordered our food and drinks according to what was available. Apparently, this restaurant has a lot of business because there were about 4 or 5 dishes that were not available. That did not hender our evening. Our waitress was really good. She was very helpful and knowledgeable. As our food arrived, we became excited to taste it as the presentation was to be expected by the vibe from the environment of the restaurant. To no surprise, the food was excellent. It didn't just look good. It tasted good. As we shared in conversation with the band in the background, we all were filled with joy, and our appetites were full as well. We spent the rest of our time taking in the relaxing time at Sagos on the river. We will definitely be back as we live local. This might be our new favorite. Good job to the staff. This is possible from your hard work as a team.

Really really nice place. It's bigger on the inside than it looks on the outside. There are natural plants throughout the whole restaurant and the decor and set up are really good and set up nicely. The staff was completely nice from the bartender to the owner to the server and the cooks. The drinks were good and the food was very good too. Overall nice place.
